May 21, 2013 Board Meeting Agenda Item #27 Title APPROVAL OF THE RENEWAL OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXCESS INSURANCE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2013 TO JUNE 30, 2014 Description Star Insurance Company proposed a one (1) year rate guarantee at 0.0406 per $100 of ratable payroll.  This is an increase from the expiring rate of 0.0350 per $100 of ratable payroll. Recommendation That the workers' compensation specific excess insurance renewal with Star Insurance Company effective July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 be approved by the Board as presented.
